The one where I have a full day.
Today was for the most part a good day. Got up when I meant to. Remembered my sandwich. Knocked out yesterday’s challenge in about 20 minutes this morning (that seems to be a norm so far doesnt it?). Once I completed the Downgrade side of things and got the pop-up and everything else working properly I then moved on to creating what was basically the same exact screen but this time called Renew.
Renew had a few tweaks and quirks to deal with over the downgrade side of things but for the most part everything went without a hitch and I had that taken care of by the end of the day which was fantastic. Created the new pop-up page, created some new SQL procs (procedures) in the database to pull the correct data and made copies of the downgrade screens to modify (which I did) so they would work for the Renew requirements.
Tomorrow will be a big day. Have to knock out a brand new page as well as a pop-up page and get them up and running as well as implementing a few quick fixes to ensure proper output on a couple of pages (which were affected by the downgrade upgrades that I added if that makes sense).
Lunch was my delicious Sun-dried Tomato Pesto Turkey Sandwich that was supposed to be for yesterday.
After work I stopped with a couple of guys from work and had a couple beers, not a bad way to spend a couple of hours.
Then I worked on the Pirate Stew (yes, you read that right) that we’re having with Kelly tomorrow.
And now I’m off to bed….what a day!
